Managing your portfolio of social media sites can be very demanding. By the time you have checked your newsfeeds, replied to messages and posted witty updates across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and even Tumblr (several times a day), there is little time left for anything else.
So, are you using your social networking time efficiently? Is your time online spent purely socialising? Could you be getting more from social media?
Social media has great positives including job networking, family connections and entertainment. While many of us would be happy to spend copious hours a day on social media, this just isn’t possible for most of us. Work, study, kids and sheer reality means this just ain’t going to happen. So, we need to be a little more strategic about identifying what we need from social media and then choosing how and where we spend our time online accordingly.
