Today marks the National Day of Action Against Bullying and Violence – a timely opportunity to remind your offspring that bullying and violence are NOT OK, ever.
With a catchy tagline of ‘Bullying. No Way!’, this successful annual event provides schools with fantastic resources, lesson plans and events designed to help children clearly understand that bullying and violence are completely unacceptable.
Targeting children through schools is clearly a great way of delivering anti-bullying messages but when schools and families work together and consistently reinforce the same messages, it can be truly powerful. So, what can we do as parents to make sure our kids understand that bullying is absolutely not acceptable?
