Australia clearly loves Jessica Mauboy. Such an extraordinary talent! However the latest McAfee research shows that Jess is topping the charts for all the wrong reasons. She is in fact the riskiest Australian celebrity name to search for according to the Eighth Annual McAfee Most Dangerous Celebrities List 2014. While the recent celebrity photo hacking scandal highlighted the importance of cyber security it also demonstrated how quickly internet traffic gravitates towards anything celebrity – particularly when there are photos and videos involved. Analysis from this year’s Most Dangerous Celebrity list confirms that sites offering celebrity ‘videos’ and ‘pictures’ in fact pose the biggest threat to online safety. Aussie celebrity Jess tops this year’s list with a 12.2% risk of returning a malicious website when searching her name. Mauboy’s historic performance at the Eurovision Song Contest and her appearance at the handover ceremony for the Commonwealth Games in Scotland has seen her jump from third position in 2013.
