iKeepSafe Launches Copyright for Educators Online Professional Development Course on Canvas Network

The Internet Keep Safe Coalition (iKeepSafe), a nonprofit alliance working to help youth thrive in their digital communities, has partnered with Canvas Network to provide a free online course for educators, to help them understand copyright and fair use, and to prepare them to teach these concepts in their classrooms. Upon completing the course, educators are awarded a badge to communicate their certification in Copyright and Creativity for Ethical Digital Citizens.

The free course on the Canvas Learning Management System gives educators across the country access to a workshop lead by copyright attorney David Sohn at the Ventura County Office of Education in California.

Copyright for Educators prepares educators to teach copyright and fair use to their students.
